Sarah Heard - Biography

Sarah started playing the flute when she was 8, and the saxophone
when she was 15. She has since taken up the clarinet as well.
In June 2007 she completed a BA (Hons) degree in Music at
the University of Southampton, majoring in classical
performance on the flute under the tuition of Barbara
Brown, and gained a 2:1. She also studied modules in
ensemble performance, jazz theory and conducting. Sarah has 
performed around Hampshire in venues such as Winchester Cathedral,  
Romsey Abbey, Uppark House, Wintershill Hall and Warbrook House.
